Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival through art and culture!
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll sculpt your own mooncake-inspired trinket box using air-dry clay—no kiln or experience necessary!

  • Learn how to shape and mold intricate mooncake patterns.
  • Enjoy complimentary snacks and tea to connect with culture through food.
  • Take home your handmade clay box, plus a sealer and paintbrush to finish it at home once dried (24–48 hrs)

All materials provided. Come ready to create, taste, and celebrate!


Meet Your Instructor

Sarah is a Vietnamese-American author and illustrator of children’s books. Her art is inspired by awkward encounters, childhood memories, food, and the celebration of cultures. Beyond her illustrations, Sarah also has a passion for fostering community through art. She hosts workshops in Austin where people can connect and create.
