This incredible "Christmas Meets Classic Rock" holiday concert experience has become an annual tradition for Tom Lounges Entertainment, LLC. We are once again happy to bring CLASSICAL BLAST back to Hobart Art Theater for the fifth consecutive year with this incredible live and updated performance.
"DARK SIDE OF THE YULE" is an ever-evolving musical repertoire of uniquely crafted and skillfully arranged holiday music by the remarkably gifted Midwest-based musical ensemble CLASSICAL BLAST.
This incredible and gifted Chicago ensemble of musicians have released five critically acclaimed full length albums, with two of them dedicated entirely to holiday music.
The repertoire of this particular performance includes timeless standards and original numbers, blended and mashed together in a way that makes this production our most anticipated performance of the winter season.
There are original arrangements and mash-ups of musical selections from the songbooks of Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Cranberries, Moody Blues, Metallica, Evanesence, and others.
These familiar and beloved pop/rock songs are creatively mashed-up with Christmas classics, medieval carols, and original holiday songs to create a mind-blowing musical performance."
