Please join us on Wednesday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. as Flinn-Brown Fellow Gina Roberts (Phoenix, 2019), Voter Education Director, Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission, facilitates a workshop for individuals interested in learning the essential skills and knowledge needed to run a successful political campaign. Joining her is Tom Collins, Executive Director, Arizona Citizen Clean Elections Commission, and together they will provide a training on the administrative requirements for candidates, including form filings, signature requirements, introduction to campaign funding options, and how individuals must demonstrate their qualifications for the ballot., along with basic campaign finance laws.

Additionally, participants will hear from Constantin Querard, founder and president of Grassroots Partners, LLC, and Stacy Pearson, Co-Founder, Lumen Strategies, two of Arizona’s leading campaign consulting and public affairs firms. As experts in campaign strategy, they will discuss what factors an individual should consider when thinking about running for office, the role of campaign team, fundraising, how to engage with voters, and the most effective platforms for developing a campaign strategy tailored to your goals, constituents, and political landscape.
