CityPlace and Fort York Business Improvement Area announces Culture Fest – an activation celebrating art & culture with community. Award-winning multi-disciplinary creative Ben Johnston will unveil a new large-scale floor mural in the heart of CityPlace and Fort York. The mural will be directly across from Faisal Anwar’s A Place I Call Home, sponsored by CityPlace and Fort York BIA for Nuit Blanche, which uses responsive technology to examine shifting ideas of belonging.
On Friday evening, celebrate the completion of the mural with a community gathering featuring a DJ set by Gimmemar and drop-in salsa lessons from Salsa in the Heart 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
