If you've ever wondered how small businesses and local entrepreneurs are getting contracts with big companies and bigger projects - you need to be here!
We are extremely honored to be joined by the Obama Foundation Director of Business Diversity and Workforce Development, Tammi Davis.
Both in her current role, and throughout her career, Tammi has found ways to use economic development, and big projects, to supercharge local businesses.
One of the original champions of building up local and diverse businesses, Tammi is no stranger to circulating dollars in Gary. During her 6-years Tammi was able to achieve 67% in-city spend during her tenure. That, combined with her tenure as Gary NAACP President, City of Gary Compliance Officer, NW Indiana Regional Development Authority Compliance Consultant, and Chief of Operations for Trinal, among many other prestigious roles made her the perfect person to help Gary businesses understand how to work their way into big contracts and deals.
What you'll learn:
- How to do business with an entity like the Obama Foundation
- How to position your company to partner on transformational projects regardless of your size
- How to supercharge your company through contracts - regardless of sector
Enjoy free food, great networking with other ambitious business owners, and an inspiring guest speaker whose insights can help multiply your revenues.
Special guests: City of Gary Leadership, City of Gary Economic Development & Redevelopment Departments.
This event is a partnership between Mayor Eddie Melton and the Gary Chamber of Commerce, with entertainment provided by THE DJ Dark Nite.
