About this event
Calling all audiophiles, foodies, music lovers, and history nerds: Factory & studio tours are running!
Citizen Vinyl is a record press facility and recording studio – located in the historic Citizen-Times newspaper building in downtown Asheville - an incredible specimen of the Art Moderne style whose grand civic space serves to celebrate the history of manufacturing & craft alongside the current state of music within our local community. Tours will cover the history of the building and its tenants, as well as visiting the studio, the factory, and learning about how vinyl records are made.

TOUR TIMES:
Monday, Friday and Saturday, 12:00 and 1:15 p.m. Additional tour Friday at 3pm.
Sunday, 12:30 and 1:45p.m.
Tours require a minimum of 4 guests and are limited to 10 guests (see details below). Reservations are strongly encouraged. Interested in a private tour on another day of the week? Please contact tours@citizenvinyl.com to book.

Guests 16 and over: $10 (+tax); non-refundable - PURCHASE TICKETS IN EVENTBRITE

Children 10 & Younger must be accompanied by a paying adult. Ages will be verified upon arrival.
We do not charge any additional fees or surcharges for online tickets. Online ticket sales close 30 minutes prior to the selected arrival time; no last-minute or walk-up tickets are available.
All visitors, regardless of age, require a ticket.
TOUR DETAILS:
Tours require a minimum of 4 guests. Guests will be notified via email 24 hours in advance if this minimum has not been met. Guests will have the opportunity to 1) be rescheduled to another tour date/time; 2) purchase an additional ticket(s) to meet the minimum; or 3) be refunded for your ticket purchase. At 9pm the night before the tour, any tour that has not met the minimum number of guests will be canceled and a refund will automatically be issued.
You tour guide will meet you at the front doors or in the foyer of the Citizen-Times Building. Tours will last approximately 60-75 minutes. Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early to sort out parking, and use the restroom facility across the street at the Grove Arcade. Restrooms are available at the end of the tour.
Tours start right on time. Late-comers may join in at any point before the group heads up to the recording studio, about 15 minutes in.

✨ Regarding PARKING: Please allow ample time to find parking around the downtown area prior to your tour. All street parking is metered. We suggest the nearby Wall Street Parking Garage at the corner of Otis Street and Battery Park Avenue.
