About this event

Family & Education • Education

In this immersive workshop, we will explore how children’s passions and the environments we create can work in harmony to guide meaningful, creative learning inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and the hundred languages. Together, we’ll reflect on how to plan organically—responding to student interests—while naturally integrating Common Core standards. At the same time, we’ll discover how intentional classroom design—through natural materials, thoughtful layouts, light, and student-centered choices—can transform our spaces into living partners in education. Participants will leave with practical strategies to co-construct inquiry-based curriculum, nurture curiosity, foster collaboration, and cultivate vibrant, inclusive classrooms deeply connected to what inspires our students.

This is the first workshop in the 2025-2026 CIRC Elementary series.
