Eight Cinnamongirls spent eight months fundraising and preparing for a two-week trip to Kenya in June 2025, visiting Nairobi, an all-girls boarding school, Maasai Mara National Reserve, and one of the many beautiful beaches along Kenya's eastern coast.

A group of young Cinnamongirl readers read A Duet For Home by Karina Yan Glaser and met to express their thoughts and feelings about the book through illustrations and a group discussion.

Seven of the 18 authors published in our latest anthology, I Am the Dream, a collection of short stories and poetry, celebrated their accomplishments at our book launch party in March 2025.
