Join us for a morning where the sea meets the sand, with a bucket & trash grabber in your hand!

Though the park has a crew to clean and comb the beach every night trash is constantly swept around by the wind & sea. Help us grow a happier coastline by pitching in for a few hours of work you can feel good about!

The cinder + salt team will be convening at Middle Beach. Parking is free for all CT license plates and all clean-up supplies will be provided. Get a primo parking spot and enjoy the rest of the day on the beach or riding the bike trails.

This event is weather permitting; If we need to cancel due to heavy rain or inclement weather, we will reschedule for the following Sunday. If weather persists, this event will be cancelled. You may want to bring sunglasses, a jacket, your own work gloves if you have them and a water bottle.

We'll supply all the gear you need including trash grabbers, buckets & gloves. Water (no cups) & light snacks will be provided. This event is kid friendly. All participants you register within 1 week of this event will receive a free volunteer t-shirt.

Approx one week before the event you will receive an email confirming your registration. There will be a short survey requesting your shirt size; please respond in a timely manner so that all volunteers will have a t-shirt waiting for them.
