About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us at The Yellow House for an artist Q&A with Richmond-based artist and educator Cidney “Birdie” Oleniacz. Through an embodied and intuitive approach to art-making, Birdie explores the fluid connection between self, creativity, and the natural world. Her work reflects a deep engagement with the present moment - what she calls the “flow state” - and invites viewers to do the same.

In addition to her studio practice, Birdie is the founder of Curious Creators, an outdoor-based arts program that empowers young people to explore creativity through nature, movement, and self-expression. Her community-driven work includes collaborative murals across the Richmond Park System, amplifying youth voices in vibrant, meaningful ways.

Come experience an evening of art, connection, and creative energy. Free and open to the public.
