Christmas Walk in Delamere Forest!

It is that time of year, when we can get our winter warmers on and enjoy a festive walk around Delamere Forest 🎄⛄🎄⛄

Join us on Thursday 18th December! Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without our Santa hats!

We’re delighted that our Sight Loss Counsellor, will be joining us for this walk, offering support and a friendly chat along the way.

Need 1:1 support? We’ll have some fantastic volunteers helping out, but we can’t guarantee individual assistance for everyone - so if you’d like extra support, feel free to bring along family or friends!

We will catch the train from Chester to Delamere which runs every hour. The train journey itself lasts around 20 minutes and there is a lovely circular walk around Delamere Forest that is approx 1 mile long with rest stops along the way.

We will meet at Chester train station at 09:15 and make our way over to the platform to catch the 09:56 train to Delamere.

After we have finished the walk around midday we will head to Delamere Station House for cake, a cup of tea, coffee or a hot chocolate! Then we will catch the 14:21 train back to Chester.
