Christmas Potluck dinner for Christians and Muslims

Christmas Potluck dinner for Christians and Muslims

By The Al-Ma'idah Initiative

Overview

A Christmas-themed dinner for Christians and Muslims to make friends and have meaningful conversation about life's biggest questions.

Christianity and Islam are the world's biggest ideas and it is important that we have meaningful conversations and real friendships with one another.

Join us for a night of tasty food and meaningful conversation hosted by Sunset Community Church and The Al-Ma'idah Initiative. Please bring a halal dish to share! It can be a winter/Christmas themed dish, something your family loves to make, or something you pick up from the grocery store on the way : ) Consider wearing a [ugly] Christmas sweater to complete the vibes. Get ready for the hot cocoa bar! The only programming for the evening will be dinner and conversation at tables... and a hot cocoa bar. And sweaters.

The Al-Ma'idah Initiative is a Christian nonprofit organization that facilitates friendship and conversation between Christians and Muslims. Learn more at al-maidah.org
