Welcome to the Christian Open Mic & Social by The Connecting 4 Christ Fellowship!
An open mic and fellowship night for believers in the DMV
Join us for a night of creative expression and fellowship! Whether you want to share your journey with Christ or simply enjoy the space to connect, this event is a wonderful opportunity to meet other believers in the DMV area.
This gathering is a safe space for all believers to celebrate faith, encourage one another, and grow in God’s love. You do not have to be a poet or performer to participate. The mic is yours to use in whatever way feels authentic and Christ-centered. Examples of what you might share include:
- Singing a worship song (original or written by others)
- Reading a favorite verse and sharing why it resonates with you in this season
- Speaking openly about your walk with God, whether that means struggles, frustrations, growth, or joys
- Storytelling, whether a personal testimony, revelation, or a creative story with Christian morals
- Are you a Christian writer? Share a section of your book with us
These are just examples, and the list goes on. What matters most is that your words, song, or story point us back to God and create space for Him to move. With Jesus, you can come as you are, but you will not leave the same.
In addition to open sharing, we will have fun games like Jenga, Uno, and cards, as well as conversation starters such as The Skin Deep (aka {THE AND}), Table Topics, and Christian Culture to keep dialogue flowing as we build friendships and connect in Christ. If time permits at the end, we will also open the floor for a group conversation.
📍 The event will take place inside the Mixt food hall in a sectioned-off area away from the restaurants. Directions to the exact location inside the food hall will be shared closer to the event date.
🎤 Note for Performers:
After purchasing your ticket, please email us with your name and the type of performance you’ll be doing. 🎶 Keep in mind you’ll be allotted approximately 5 minutes. ⏰
