He’s been everything from an Air Force electrician to a catamaran builder, and in 2018 earned his “not-that-kind-of-doctor” doctorate in Management. Now based in the Pacific Northwest, he splits his time between books, sci-fi movies, hiking trails, snowboarding in the Cascades, and endless home projects.He’s the author of A Door Into Another Land, Power Over Everything, and No Strings Attached, as well as an academic article on humor in leadership published in The Journal of Organizational Psychology.
