This 4-hour course is designed only for students who previously completed a 4-hour concealed handgun permit (CHP) class under the old curriculum, before the new 8-hour training requirement took effect on July 1, 2025.
Under the updated law (Colorado Revised Statute § 18-12-202.5), all new applicants must now complete 8 hours of in-person training, including a written exam and live-fire shooting qualification. If you already took a 4-hour class prior to the law change, this class gives you the final 4 hours you need to meet the new legal requirements.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY DISCLOSURE:
This course is only for students who already completed a 4-hour CCW class prior to July 1, 2025.
You must bring proof of your previous class (a certificate, receipt, or photo of the class) to be eligible.
If you have not yet taken any class, or if you're seeking a renewal, this is not the correct course for you.

- A handgun (semi-auto or revolver) in a secure case
- At least one magazine
- 100 rounds of ammunition (leave ammo in your vehicle until range time)
- Eye and ear protection
- Lunch and water (we’ll take a short break)
- Pen and notebook
- Proof of your previous 4-hour class (certificate)
