Children’s Champion Award Celebration

Please join Youth Forward for our first annual Children’s Champion Award Celebration on Thursday, October 30th from 6 to 8 pm at the Our Place event venue in Old Sacramento.

At this event, we will recognize an adult champion for children and youth and two youth leaders. This year we are celebrating City Councilmember Mai Vang, Angelina Hinojosa, and Alan Santos. Councilmember Mai Vang has been a leading voice for children and youth and played a key role in the development of the Sacramento Children's Fund. Angelina and Alan are local native youth leaders who have made great contributions through advocacy and through numerous community-based efforts.

Small bites and soft drinks will be served by Our Place Event Space and Kitchen.

Event attire is business causal.
