Childbirth Preparation Class - La Porte

Topics covered include: What to expect during labor, support techniques to assist with labor, vaginal birth, medical procedures, cesarean sections, and postpartum care including pain management options, newborn transition, and preparations for going home.

A tour of the Birthing and Family Care Center at Northwest Health - La Porte is included.

Newborn topics include: transition of care, skin to skin, newborn tests and procedures, newborn appearance, skin, cord and diaper care, bathing, feeding and proper positioning along with safe sleep.

Class sizes are limited and pre-registration is required.

All classes are FREE and held in the Lilly Lake Conference Room, 4th floor.
