Cohoba is a psychedelic-positive nonprofit focused on establishing equitable, evidence-based community care. We are a team of licensed mental health therapists, artists, and activists dedicated to cultural stewardship and the flowering of Charlotte's healing arts programming, with special emphasis on amplifying voices that go unheard in the modern psychedelic movement. Guests will arrive to VAPA during its monthly Open Studios event. Cohoba is located on the lower level. We'll be debuting the talents of our new in-house musicians, Los Yayá, as they take the group through an interactive tour of Latin Caribbean soundscapes. Our fabulous art therapist Rebeca Carvajal will share more about her practice and guide us through an art exercise to help us connect to ourselves and each other, as we invoke hope and mindfulness into this collectively heavy season of life. And as per usual, Cohoba therapists will be present to provide a safe container for conversations on all things psychedelia. Don't miss out!
