Charlie Garcia -- Classical Guitar Recital

The recital will run for about an hour with no intermission, starting at 7:00. Charlie will be playing a demanding program with works by Rodrigo, Koshkin, Bach, and Barrios. There will be drinks and homemade cookies for before and after!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Charlie is an 18 year-old classical guitarist who has been immersed in music since the age of three. He has played for guitar legends including grammy-winner David Russell, Marc Teicholz, and Badi Assad. At the age of 12, he performed the world-premiere of Tres Cenas Brasileiras II, a piece written and dedicated to him by multiple Latin-Grammy winner Sergio Assad. His playing has also been featured on Siccas Guitars' Youtube Channel. Charlie's recent accomplishments include recieving a Superior Award from the Bay Area Creative Foundation, and performing at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
