Nevada-licensed or emeritus-certified attorneys can earn 2.0 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits by attending either online or in-person. All attorneys must take on at least one new pro bono case to receive CLE credit. Select a case at www.lacsnprobono.org.

This two-hour CLE will cover what to expect in handling an uncomplicated Chapter 7 bankruptcy. It will start with an overview of bankruptcy law, then delve into preparing the Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition, the debtor's duties and deadline, and the 314 Meeting of Creditors.

This program will be available online via RingCentral and in-person at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. In-person space is limited to 15 attendees and lunch will be provided. It will be presented by Richard Hawkins, Esq., of the Hawkins Law Firm.
