Guests are encouraged to arrive during this time window. Participants will be invited to hang their coats, write name tags, and have initial refreshments to satisfy their appetites.
11:30 - 2:30PM Brunch and discussion
Participants will be given discussion packets to engage with their tablemates. Reading passages can include selections from the following literary pieces: ONENESS vs. the 1%, A Voice That Could Stir An Army: Fannie Lou Hamer and the Rhetoric of the Black Freedom Movement, In the Shadow of Slavery, Small is Beautiful: Economics as if People Mattered, Great Speeches by Native Americans, Native New Yorkers: The Legacy of the Algonquin People of New York and more .
Participants will be invited to share their table's discussion points with the entire tea party.
2:30 - 3:00PM Exit ticket and goodbyes

- Medicinal teas brewed with locally grown fruits and herbs.
