Elmwood's Cemetery Cinema offers visitors a chance to enjoy the beauty of the cemetery with a fun, unique film series. Cemetery Cinema takes place as the last light of the day washes away. Our show times are based on the setting of the sun. Films are projected onto the roof of the historic Cottage, a National Register Landmark since 1978.

All movies are shown outdoors, so we encourage weather-appropriate attire. Guests should bring lawn chairs. Picnic baskets are welcome, but we hope you'll visit the food truck we'll have onsite.

Frequently asked questions

What if it rains?

Rain dates are chosen in advance of each show. In the event of rain, refunds will be issued when requested; if you do not request a refund, we will assume you plan to attend the rain date. The rain date for this event is Friday, November 7th at 6 pm.

Can I bring my kids?

Cemetery Cinema events are for children ages ten and up only when supervised by an adult. Kids aren't allowed to play in the cemetery before, during, or after the movie. This is for their safety.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Pets will not be admitted at Cemetery Cinema events.

Do I need to print out my ticket?

Nah. The Eventbrite purchase confirmation that was emailed to you will be your only receipt. You'll show it at the gate. Your name will also be on a list at the admission point.

I missed this event. Can I get a refund?

No. Cemetery Cinema is a fundraising event for our nonprofit cemetery; admissions will not be refunded after the event has passed. These special events raise funds for the maintenance of the cemetery.

Where do we park?

Parking will take place outside of the cemetery in a parking lot. A security guard will show you where it is. Security will be made available for these events.
