Celebrating the life of Andrew Isenhour
Celebrating the life of Andrew Isenhour
Come join us for a special event as we honor and remember the incredible life of Andrew Isenhour. This gathering is a chance for friends and family to share stories, memories, and celebrate the impact Andrew had on all of our lives, NoVa edition.
This event is being held in Greenbriar woods due to the significance this location had in Andrew's life. Because this is a fairly obscure location, we will all need to start by meeting up in Greenbriar Commons Park at 3PM, then around 3:30, we will all walk to the location in the woods together. (Be on time to avert getting left behind.)
While in the woods, we will be having a memorial capsule experience where anyone and everyone is welcome to contribute small trinkets of significance or write letters for Andrew to add to the capsule (The capsule is 14x8in wide and 6in deep, so small scale items.) Paper and pens will be provided for anyone interested in writing a note. Everyone can share stories about their experiences with Andrew and reminisce.
Given we will be in the woods, there will not be any bathrooms, food, drinks, or chairs immediately accessible. If you struggle with needing any of those things constantly and are incapable of being without for an hour or so, then I would suggest bringing the items you need with you (blankets, camp chairs, water, snack, tissues, toilet paper in case you need a woodland squat piss, etc)
Date: Aug31st
Time: 3-6PM
Location: Greenbriar Woods
Where to park & meet: Greenbriar Commons Park (13001 Point Pleasant Dr, Fairfax, VA 22033)
What to wear: Casual attire, bright colors, band tees, and anime vibes. Bring clothes and shoes you are comfortable wearing in the woods. Note that this is not a full blown hike, we are just parking and walking into the woods next to a neighborhood.
I would say RSVP, but honestly my ass will not remember to keep track nor will I actually trust the event numbers to be accurate. So just show up at the location on time so that you do not get left behind when we begin to walk, RSVP numbers are really irrelevant. If you have questions, feel free to message or text.
