Please join us on Friday, June 13th, from 5 pm - 8 pm at Woods-Gerry Gallery for Celebrating Community: 20 Years of Project Open Door. This special anniversary exhibition honors two decades of artistic expression, youth empowerment, and vibrant community connections. The event will showcase artwork from our talented youth artists, program alumni, teaching artists, and teaching assistants. We are thrilled to invite our past and present participants and RISD and local community partners to celebrate this significant milestone with a joyful evening filled with music, food, art, and connection. Celebratory remarks at 6pm.

Project Open Door (POD) is a youth arts program housed within the Department of Teaching + Learning in Art + Design (TLAD) at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). POD provides free programs and opportunities to develop the artistic skills and creative voices of public high school students from Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Woonsocket within a supportive and inclusive community.
