About this event
This 10-hour certificate series for early childhood leaders aims to train childcare programs across Shelby County, TN. Experienced early childhood leaders will discuss skills to advance in the field through deepened conversations around quality early childhood education and ethical practices. The CEED team will partner with program leaders to help them implement high-quality practices to make their program the best for the staff, children, and families they serve.
There is no cost to participate. One year of experience in an early childhood leadership position is required. Participants MUST plan to attend all five sessions to receive credit. Upon completion, learn how to turn training hours into Experimental Learning credits hours to be counted towards a degree at the University of Memphis. Participants will receive the NAEYC book: From Survive to Thrive: A Director's Guide for Leading an Early Childhood Program and additional books used for discussion in sessions.
The first 15 programs to register will receive the book: All Are Welcome – by Alexandra Penfold, Suzanne Kaufman (Illustrator).
