OperaFest XVIII brings CCPA’s opera students to the stage in a wide-ranging program of scenes and ensembles. The afternoon includes Verdi’s powerful choruses, Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Jake Heggie’s Three Decembers, and selections from Vaughan Williams’ Sir John in Love. With music direction by Dana Brown, Paula Gelpi, and Shannon McGinnis, OperaFest highlights the range and imagination of the next generation of singers.
