Why should I attend Texas Lobby Day?

In-person meetings are the most powerful way to build relationships with legislators and influence Texas’s climate policy. Lobby Day also offers a great opportunity to meet and get inspired by your fellow climate advocates from across the state.

How much do I need to know about climate policy?

Nada! We’ll host trainings to get you ready for the scheduled in-person meetings with legislators. Plus you’ll receive information packets to share with politicians. A seasoned policy advocate will join each lobbying team.

Is there a hotel room block?

Unfortunately, we are not reserving a block of hotel rooms for this event.

If you have a place to share in Austin or are looking for a roommate to share a hotel room, please post in the forum: https://cclusa.org/TXAT. Organizers are making this forum available but will not be assigning people to housing or pairing participants for sharing hotel rooms.

Is there parking?

You can leave your car parked in the St. David’s garage Monday and Tuesday for $10/day. You will need to pay for parking and provide your license plate number when you register. There is also parking close to the Capitol.
