  • Event lasts 45 minutes

Plan to join the Critical Consumer Issues Forum (CCIF) on Sunday, July 27, at 12:15 pm EDT for a buffet lunch and an engaging program featuring leading State Commissioners, Consumer Advocates, and Electric Company Representatives. In collaboration with the NARUC Staff Subcommittees on Electricity; Energy Resources & the Environment; Consumers & the Public Interest; Critical Infrastructure; Rate Design; and Electric Reliability & Resilience, the program will celebrate the new CCIF report, Demand Growth and Risk Management: Investing in Energy Infrastructure to Meet Customer Needs, as a valuable resource on the issues and a foundation for further collaboration.

Registration. Please register using the orange "Reserve a spot" button. While no charge to participate, seating is limited, and a separate registration with CCIF is required. Upon registration, you should immediately receive an Eventbrite-generated email with the subject "Registration Confirmation for CCIF Lunch & Report Release. . . ." If not, check spam/junk folders. You will not need the "ticket" for entry, but it serves as confirmation of your registration and contains helpful info for your reference. See the current registration list here (updated periodically, not automatically).

Hotel Accommodations. For those also registering for the NARUC 2025 Summer Policy Summit, consider including Saturday night when booking rooms through the NARUC housing link. See Summer Summit - NARUC. No CCIF room block is available, and CCIF registrants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.

Agenda. An agenda will be made available in advance of the event. An optional buffet lunch, funded by Edison Electric Institute (EEI), will be available by 12:15 pm EDT. The program will begin no later than 12:30 pm EDT and end by 1:00 pm EDT.

About CCIF. The Critical Consumer Issues Forum (CCIF) is an initiative that brings together three core groups--state utility commissioners, consumer advocates, and electric company representatives--for collaboration, candid dialogue, and often consensus-building on a number of energy topics (navigating the regulatory landscape; supporting customers through times of crisis; clean energy transition; resilience; electric transportation; rate design; etc.). See the CCIF website for more information, including all past reports.
