CBPP Presents - Hidden Signatures: Imaging AI for Precision Medicine

Join us for an engaging seminar with Dr. Satish Viswanath, a leading researcher in medical imaging and artificial intelligence. Dr. Viswanath will explore how AI is uncovering “hidden signatures” within medical images—patterns that can revolutionize the way we predict disease, tailor treatments, and improve patient outcomes.

His work integrates imaging data (such as MRI, CT, and PET scans) with pathology and molecular information to reveal new insights into how diseases behave and respond to therapy. By bridging these different data sources, Dr. Viswanath and his team are building tools that are both clinically intuitive and scientifically powerful—helping to move precision medicine from concept to everyday practice.

The seminar will highlight applications across colorectal and renal cancers, digestive diseases, and pediatric conditions, while also addressing the challenge of making AI tools reliable across different hospitals, scanners, and patient populations.

This in-person event will be held at the UAA Consortium Library. A catered hot lunch will be provided for all attendees.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how imaging AI is shaping the future of healthcare and to hear directly from an expert at the forefront of this exciting field.
