About this event
Step into the echoing chambers of Cave of the Winds as autumn deepens and the veil between worlds grows thin. This sacred season — embracing Samhain, Halloween, and Día de los Muertos — invites us to remember our ancestors, release what no longer serves, and welcome renewal.
With Dr. Gigi Turner, PsyD, Dave Patrick, and Charity Mahlman, live instruments—crystal and Tibetan bowls, gongs, Native American flute, guitar, handpan, and more—blend with the cave’s natural acoustics to create a living field of vibration that you can feel through stone and air. The sound eases the mind, softens the body, and opens the heart.
Long regarded as a place of power by the Apache and Ute peoples, the cave offers a natural resonance that deepens this experience of remembrance and reflection. In this stillness, sound becomes a bridge between worlds—a way to honor those who have passed while grounding ourselves in the present moment.
Lie back, breathe, and let waves of sound carry you into peace and connection this season. Capacity is limited and cave sessions fill quickly—reserve your spot early for this special evening.
Special Offer:
A complimentary 1-hour integration session is available post-event to reflect on any emotions or experiences that arise, led by sound bath practitioner and founder of Singing Bowls of the Rockies - Dr. Gigi Turner, PsyD—a former therapist and psychology professor.
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath offers a unique meditative journey, immersing participants in a sea of soothing sound waves generated by instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, known for their rich overtones. In this deeply relaxing experience, individuals lie down and are enveloped by resonant sounds, which facilitate a shift in brain waves from an active to a more tranquil and dreamlike state.
The essence of a sound bath lies in fostering profound rest, facilitating self-exploration and discovery, and providing relief from stress, anxiety, and daily concerns. It serves as a therapeutic practice aimed at calming the nervous system and clearing the mind, allowing participants to deeply connect with their bodies and inner selves.
Underpinning the sound bath experience is the science of vibrations, a fundamental principle that recognizes the vibratory nature of all existence. From the microscopic cells within our bodies to the infinite expanse of the universe, every element resonates at its own frequency, together creating a harmonious symphony of life. Sound baths utilize resonance to realign our vibrational frequencies, promoting holistic well-being and a deep sense of harmony with the universe.
