Kaaterskill High Peak, at 3,655', is one of the 33 Catskill 3500 peaks that one must climb to become a Catskill 3500 Club member.

Note: This hike goes to the peak of the 3,655' mountain called Kaaterskill High Peak. It does not pass by or go to Kaaterskill Falls.

This is a challenging hike of 8 miles and 2,100' of elevation change that we'll take at a moderate pace over the course of about 8 hours. Along the route of both marked and unmarked trails, we will visit two plane wrecks and a Mohawk Indian Camp. We'll split the group near the top so the more adventurous TrailBounders can take the fun steep scramble approach from the South, while the more conservative of us can take the more sensible approach from the North! Either way, we will all be rewarded with breathtaking views up top!

Join the TrailBounders for an epic day of adventure!

The parking and hike details are emailed after registration.
