Dong-Ill Shin, winner of the 20th Grand Prix de Chartres, is acclaimed as one of the leading organists of his generation. Beginning as a piano prodigy in Korea, he later studied organ in Seoul, France, and the U.S., earning top diplomas and scholarships under renowned teachers including Jean Boyer, Olivier Latry, and James David Christie. A prizewinner in major international competitions such as Musashino-Tokyo, Prague Spring, St. Albans, and Ciurlionis, Shin has performed widely across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and has been featured on major radio and television networks worldwide.
