Casting on and Basic Stitches Part I
This beginner-friendly knitting class is specially curated for those with little to no experience—whether you’ve never picked up needles before or only know how to cast on. I’ve designed this course with patience and encouragement in mind, because I haven’t forgotten how tricky those first few stitches can be!
Casting on and Basic Stitches Part I
● Slip Knot and Long Tail Cast on
● Understanding Tension
● Learn the Knit Stitch(Continental and English)
● Learn the Garter Stitch
Together, we’ll walk step-by-step through the basics—from choosing yarn and holding your needles to mastering the stitches that will bring your first projects to life. By the end, you’ll proudly knit your own scarf and possibly a hat, just in time to stay warm this winter (or gift them to someone you love!).
No pressure—just a relaxing, supportive space to learn, ask questions, and create something handmade.
