Cask & Bierstacheln Day

We’re doing something a little different on a Thursday. Join us for another cask tapping with Petty Thieves, featuring their fresh new Dopplebock (German strong dark lager). We’ll be tapping it live at 5pm. Fonta Flora is gonna join the fun and bring some beer pokers for a classic Bierstacheln service. A traditional German practice of heating a metal beer spike to over 1000° F, then plunging it into a cold beer! This caramelizes residual sugars and creates a thick layer of silky, marshmallow-y foam on top. It’s perfect for dark and strong brews, like Cask Dopplebock, or Fonta’s Half Bday Barleywine!
