Wakefield Books presents Casey Sherman In Conversation with Don Winslow.

Casey Sherman’s new book Blood In The Water delves into the case of Nathan Carman, which was set in motion just off the coast of Rhode Island, when Nathan was miraculously rescued from a lifeboat, only to later be suspected of involvement in the death of both his mother and grandfather. Nathan's story of a fishing trip gone awry doesn't quite add up, and the story’s complexity grows as suspicion mounts. In Blood In The Water, Sherman has crafted a gripping contemporary true crime narrative for everyone who was fascinated by the Murdaugh murders, and for anyone compelled by the intersection between money, power, and family.

Casey is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Boston Globe bestselling author of 17 books including The Finest Hours, and Patriots Day (both now major motion pictures). Sherman’s 2023 true crime bestseller Helltown is in development as a limited television series for Amazon Studio. Sherman has appeared on more than 100 television and radio programs and is a contributing writer for TIME Magazine, Esquire, The Washington Post, The Daily Beast, and more.

SK native Don Winslow is the author of 25 acclaimed, award-winning international bestsellers, and is a former investigator, anti-terrorist trainer, and trial consultant. This event is free to attend, but registration is required.
