Do I need to have my camera on?

No! Your camera can be on or off, whichever you prefer.

What counts as an ED behavior?

Restricting food, binging on food, purging or laxative use, spitting out food, food rituals, exercising/intentional fidgeting or movement.

Will the group be anonymous?

Yes. The guest list will be hidden from other attendees. However, if you are using a Gmail account to join, your name may appear on the screen during the session. All participants will be asked at the beginning not to share the names of anyone who joined in the group.

What will we talk about?

We will choose new topics for each month's group! Examples could be: your favorite place you've traveled, your favorite movie, hobbies, etc.

Case Specific Meal Support Group

Welcome to our online Case Specific Meal Support Group! This event is designed to provide a safe space for individuals who are in ED recovery and looking for a relaxed and pleasant space to have lunch.

Join us for a fun new topic every month. Option to be camera on or camera off, stay muted or be chatty! The group will be led by an eating disorder specialized Case Specific dietitian.

Note: This is not a space to discuss your eating disorder or engage in ED behaviors. If you do either, you will be given a gentle reminder. If it persists, you will be removed from the virtual room.
