Cherokee Town and Country Club features two championship golf courses, known for their challenging layouts and stunning natural beauty.
The North and South courses at Cherokee Town & Country Club have been designed and redesigned by several architects. The original Hillside course (later South) was designed by Joe Lee in 1956. The North course (formerly the Riverside) was initially built with a Pineside nine by Willard Byrd in 1977, and a Riverside nine by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore in 1986. Tom Fazio made significant revisions to both courses, particularly in 1998. In addition, Andrew Green has been consulted for a master plan.
