“Let’s Put On a Show!” How Curators Work
Speaker: Emily Teeter, PhD, Egyptology and Special Exhibits Coordinator, Oriental Institute Museum

What issues are considered when developing an exhibit? How are objects selected, and how does an object move from storage into a display case? Emily Teeter, curator for installations of Egyptian art in several museums, will discuss exhibit development to give you a better understanding of what curators do.

*A valid UChicago student ID is required to attend this event.*

The Career Lunch & Learn Series is co-sponsored by UChicago Careers in Journalism, Arts, and Media.
