CARE4U2 is a self-care conference designed specifically for mental health and helping professionals seeking to reconnect with joy and deepen their sense of purpose, presence, and renewal.
This year’s theme, Reclaiming Joy: Purpose, Presence, Renewal, invites you to reconnect to your body, your values, and the joy that sustains your work.
- "Laughter Lab" - Performance from a local KC Improv comedian followed by an info session on how to use humor with clients or in the work we do
- Explore joy your way through our “Choose Your Own Joy Adventure” activity stations
- Reflect, restore, and play through creative expression, movement, gratitude, and grounding
- Leave with a full heart, new tools, and a fresh sense of possibility
In addition to the in-person self-care activities, we are offering 6 asyncrhonous CEUs available before and after the event on the following topics:
- Ethical Dilemma of Secondary Trauma in Trauma Therapy (1 Ethics CEU)
- Safety in Session (1 Safety CEU)
- Diagnosis of Adjustment Disorders (1 Diagnosis CEU)
