Care of Creation: Volunteer Workday

Come join us at Penuel Ridge Retreat Center for a day of giving back to our beautiful planet! We'll be working on various projects to help maintain and enhance the natural beauty of the center.

Volunteer Workday Opportunities in 2025 are:

Wednesdays: October 1st, November 5th & December 3rd (see project themes below*)

Sunday: November 9th (12:00 - 5:00 PM)

- We'll work on projects together from 1:00 - 5:00 PM

- Bring a refillable water bottle

- All Tools and Equipment will be provided...but feel free to bring your own if you prefer

Tasks will differ from season-to-season but usually include: seasonal gardening, maintenance of facilities, trail work, and clearing brush.

*Project themes for these workdays will be:

Oct. 1st - Setting up a dedicated space for tools and equipment

Nov. 5th - Moon Gate Project on the Lake Trail

Nov. 9th - Grey Owl Juniper Project aka creating an unobstructed view

Dec. 3rd - Organization of the Basement at the Main Retreat House

October 1st Project - creating dedicated space for tools and equipment

November 5th Project - Moon Gate installation on the Lake Joyce Trail

November 9th Project - Grey Owl Juniper Project aka creating an unobstructed view in the Dayspring Room

December 3rd Project - organizing the basement at the Main Retreat House
