Capture the Action

Photographing fast-moving subjects requires a unique set of camera skills. Whether it's sports, fast cars, birds in flight, or kids at play, we can help you to overcome the hurdles and fine-tune your skills for great pictures.

You'll learn easy-to-use techniques for controlling your camera shutter to freeze the action or to create purposeful motion blur for more creative impact. We’ll tackle the challenges of focusing on moving subjects. You’ll sharpen your skills for handling indoor and outdoor lighting challenges. And we'll also discuss how to compose images for a greater impact.

Prerequisites: Understanding Your Interchangeable Lens Camera: Part 1 or equivalent experience. We recommend an interchangeable-lens camera for this class.
