Join us for the kickoff of the Capital Area Startup Studio, funded by the Lansing Regional Smartzone and free to the community, where innovators, builders, and dreamers come together to turn ideas into reality. This first meeting will introduce the program, outline the available resources, and demonstrate how local entrepreneurs can overcome common barriers to product development.
The Startup Studio helps participants accelerate their path from idea to launch with cutting-edge tools, low-code/no-code training, and hands-on mentorship. Through public workshops and an exclusive cohort experience, participants gain the practical skills to design, prototype, and launch a minimum viable product (MVP).
Whether you’re an aspiring founder, community leader, creative problem-solver, or someone curious about bringing a new idea to life, this program is built for you. Ideal participants are those who are ready to learn, collaborate, and take tangible steps toward building something real. No coding background required.
Last year’s participants built everything from apps connecting small businesses with customers to complex digital assessment tools for influencers. Several participants took their businesses full-time, formed partnerships, and continued product development with support from the Lansing Regional SmartZone and local mentors.
