Cao Yu is an original poetic drama by Tianjin Communication University, collaboratively created by over 130 students and faculty from the departments of playwriting, directing, performance, and stage design. Using a dual narrative structure—between the elder and younger Cao Yu—and multimedia stagecraft, the play revisits the creation of iconic works such as Thunderstorm and Sunrise, revealing the playwright’s ideals and artistic spirit. Fusing realism with abstraction, and live performance with projections, it explores Cao Yu’s inner world and the fates of his characters. The production won the Gold Hedgehog Award at the University Students Drama Festival and has been widely acclaimed during its multi-city tour.

《回望·曹禺》是天津传媒学院原创诗剧，由戏文、导演、表演、舞美四系130余名师生联合创作，通过老年与青年曹禺的双线叙事，结合多媒体舞美手段，回顾其《雷雨》《日出》等经典剧作的创作历程，展现其戏剧理想与艺术精神。舞台融合写实与虚构，现实与影像交织，呈现曹禺心灵世界与人物命运的碰撞。该剧获“金刺猬大学生戏剧节”金刺猬奖，曾在多地展演，广受好评，被赞为一部致敬戏剧大师、富有教育意义的原创佳作。
