This workshop introduces essential Canvas tools for building and managing course content, communication, and scheduling.

This Canvas workshop is for GUMC faculty and staff. In this workshop, participants will learn the Canvas skills for:

  • Creating a course homepage and course pages using Pages
  • Uploading and managing course files using Files
  • Adding and organizing course contents using Modules
  • Sharing course recordings
  • Using Calendar to schedule class sessions, events, and appointments
  • Using Inbox and Notifications to send emails to course students

Registration and participation require a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu, or medstar.net email address. The Zoom link for this workshop will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
