AGE GROUP: 2.5 to 6 and their grownups (depending on your child's age and fluency level, adult assistance will be needed for some activities and games ^-^)

• Kids younger than 2.5 years old are welcome but will need more active participation from grownups

Fluency level: Beginner to Immediate

This "Cantonese Basics 1" program has 3 major topics: (a) Numbers 1-20, (b) Colors, and (c) Shapes. Class will be on every Saturday morning at 9:00am Pacific Time for 40 minutes; 6 weekly classes in total.

All of our classes will be recorded. Families can join us live and/or watch the replay to learn asynchronously. For families who are in other time zones, having video recordings will enable you to do the classes at your own time! If you missed a class, you can also watch the recordings.

In each class, everything we do will be about that day's theme! We will:

• Introduce the vocabularies
• Read a book
• Play a game or do an activity together
• Sing a song
• *Note: Worksheets will be free for download. Please print them out at home. For crafts, the supplies we'd need will be easy-to-find, common household items. Please find and prepare the supplies for your child. More instructions will be shared before class starts.

• Class 1: Numbers 1 to 10
• Class 2: Numbers 11-20
• Class 3: Colors (7 Rainbow Colors)
• Class 4: Colors (Other Common Colors)
• Class 5: Shapes (Basic Shapes)
• Class 6: Shapes & Polygons

• Saturdays (Dates: October 16, 23, 30, November 6, 13, 20)
• 9am PDT/ 12pm ET / 5pm BST
