Join us for our October gathering of Canto-Kójo, Call & Response's reading and open mic series led by Itiola "I.S." Jones and Yazud Brito-Milan!

In Yorùbá the word “kojo” means “to gather”. In Spanish, “canto” means “to sing”. In our efforts to gather community together, we hope to make something new sing.

Itiola and Yazud will lead us in engaging with their own poetry and written words from the community! Bring a poem, a piece of literature you're working on, or even a song you've written to share! All are welcome regardless of age or experience!

Light refreshments will be provided
