Overview

Kids explore computer language with sweet crafts in this fun intro to how computers talk. Creative, hands-on holiday learning!

Curious about how computers talk to each other? Join us for a sweet introduction to binary coding, the computer language behind all technology. In this hands-on program, kids explore how zeros and ones work together to create the digital world. We turn coding concepts into colorful crafts by making candy canes and personalized bracelets that spell out names in code. Perfect for ages 5 to 12, this program blends creativity and learning with a sprinkle of holiday fun!

Note: A signed City waiver is required to participate. For minors, a parent or guardian must complete and submit the waiver at the event. Waivers are available at the Library or online at Altamonte.org/Library. Once submitted, the waiver remains on file and does not need to be resubmitted.
