Candlelit Carol Service, Binsey

The ancient and unique church of St Margaret in Binsey Village is holding a special candlelit carol service.

Set aside an hour this Christmas season, and give yourself and your family a gift that will cost absolutely nothing but will immeasurably enrich your spirit throughout the year ahead. In this service we hear and receive the good news of the birth of Christ and we offer to God our thanksgiving in the joyful singing of carols.

St Margaret's in Binsey is at the end of the lane leading out of Binsey Village and is isolated. The church does not have electricity or toilet facilities so come prepared and with a warm coat and a torch.

We regret there is also miminal parking (1 or 2 spaces) so either car share, cycle, or park in the Perch and walk (it's about 3/4mile).

St Margaret is also a small church, so please arrive early.
