We have ALL been victims (or perpetrators) of "gifts gone wrong"
This fun, warm, story-filled gathering invites you to bring your most questionable, confusing, or outrageous gifts and share the story behind it — or swap it with another guest.
Come laugh, connect, and enjoy an afternoon of sisterhood, storytelling, and shared “you won’t believe this one” moments.
WHAT WE’LL DIVE INTO
• Do you confess you’re regifting… or keep that to yourself?
• Has a gift ever changed the relationship?
• Has a gift ever boomeranged back to you?
• Have you ever gifted a Goodwill treasure with confidence and joy?
• What’s the most “why would anyone think this is a gift?” item you’ve ever gotten?

Arrive between 2:00–2:20 PM to check in, grab a seat, and enjoy light bites. Meet other guests through warm introductions and fun table prompts. At 2:20 PM, host Vanessa Cardenas kicks off with a quick welcome and a playful “Raise Your Hand If…” icebreaker. From 2:30–3:00 PM, join Gifting Confession Circle Round 1 in small groups, sharing stories like “The worst gift I ever received” or “The one I re-re-gifted.” After a short break and Raffle #1 (3:00–3:15 PM), we return for Round 2 with themes such as “Did I really receive this?” and “My partner tried to gift… and failed spectacularly.” At 3:45 PM, enjoy The Great Gift Swap: trade, keep, or pass your item with no pressure. At 4:15 PM, we’ll draw the final raffle for a $50 Giuseppe’s gift card. We close with a reflective circle on what these gifts taught us, followed by optional photos and goodbyes by 5:00 PM.
