Join Josie Thompson, owner of Elementals Soap Co., for a hands-on candle-making class at Cana Vineyards in Middleburg, VA, on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 1-3pm. Learn how to create the signature Cactus Garden candle, made with soy wax and wood wicks, while sipping on your favorite wine at Cana Vineyards. Seats are limited, so please RSVP and enjoy a fun, interactive hands-on experience with friends as you craft your own unique candle!

Frequently asked questions

Where will the class be held?

The class will be held on the 2nd floor and inside of our Harvest Room. Please note, this space is only accessible by stairs. There are two restrooms located on the 2nd Floor.

What time do I need to arrive?

Please plan to arrive at Cana Vineyards at least 10 minutes prior to the class so that we can begin right at 1pm.

What is included in my ticket?

Included in your ticket is one glass of wine, class instruction and supplies with Josie, and your own 13-oz. customized woodwick soy candle.

How long will it take for my candle to cure?

There will be 1 hour for the actual candlemaking and then 1 hour for candle curing and wine drinking!
